A White House aide set off a stampede of liberal media criticism for Internet news pioneer Matt Drudge over Obamacare – but his critics don't seem to understand how small businesses pay taxes . The brouhaha started when Drudge tweeted, “Just paid the Obamacare penalty for not 'getting covered'... I'M CALLING IT A LIBERTY TAX.”

All the talk about “slavery reparations” based on race for harmed parties that are no longer alive make me wonder about “slavery reparations” for us of any race that are slaves to the state.
That goes to show you how much the media - and even the White House - knows about small business in the USA!
The White House and the media claim that Matt Drudge doesn’t have to pay that Obamacare Tax until next year!!
They don’t seem to realize that small business has to pay their tax into IRS - quarterly!
This just goes to show you how ignorant and inept Obama and his people are!!
Being Obama, I think the appropriate word sounds similar to cAke, with a different vowel sound.
If he sold his House and it exceeded the Obamacare Property Valuation Penalty amount, he would have paid a new Obamacare Tax last Year.
Obamacare applies to 2014 taxes. Not 2013.

Nobody really gets that this is so absurd that complying is the height of stupidity. I cancelled insurance because to continue is to comply. I was a religious seat belt wearer until it became the law. Then I stopped for years.
That was stupid. But cancelling your health care insurance is patriotic. It’s the first, relatively painless, act against runaway fascism.
What kills me is how they called it a tax, insisted even, then it is suddenly a penalty after they won in court. I’d love to hear Roberts explain that one considering the individual mandate was deemed legal through a lie.
Those paying quarterly taxes are paying 2014 1st Qtr quarterly taxes soon. Poor losers like me have a corporate employer as well as a small business. My corporate employer extracts health care payments, but I am investigating a way to opt out. I am looking at retirement from the corporate system to gain more control over my life which will never include zer0-care. FUBO!
Great story. I wonder if Matt knew what he was doing when he tweeted that.
He may have, though sprung the trap a little early. Should have waited until monday and really start the week off for Obama. Imagine the Obamanaughts on the talking head shows over the weekend. Matt should have taken 2 days of heat then sprung the trap. You know MSNBC would have been all over this pounding it all weekend, only to wake up monday morning with the start of a week long headache.
Obama and his cronies will RUE the day!

Small businesses and people who are independent contractors, must pay quarterly taxes, IN ADVANCE. They have to guess what they’re going to make and pay taxes on it. Right now, they’re paying their estimated first quarter taxes for 2014.
Drudge is telling the truth.
I sense some small impatience on his part.
Who can blame em at this point!
It’s ironic to see that the libs’ main (false) argument is that Drudge won’t have to pay the penalty until next year. They aren’t arguing that it isn’t bad. Just delayed. And it’s not.
And the liberal acadmeic sheeple , who have never worked a real job either in business, or industry , didn't know about 1/4ly tax reporting .
They betray their own ignorance !!
