I hate—hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate that kind of music. The music itself, and the dance, body language, vocabulary, and world view that accompany it, are Satanic.

I am appalled to see a woman of God capering about in that fashion.

I'm better at reading Italian than hearing the slangy vernacular spoken rapidly. But I did catch that the tattooed judge asked the sister if she sings in church and she said yes; also he asked if the Pope knew about her performing and she said she had talked to Pope Francis on the phone. Either Francis, or she herself, then said her singing is a form of evangelism. (It would be worth finding out whose opinion that was!)

Also, when they asked her to choose her mentor, she said she was choosing the tattooed guy because he was the one who turned around first.

I heard several references to "the devil", and could not catch it, but am guessing it is a pop-culture reference to the goth punk guy with the little goatee and earrings, and that they were teasing her that she should team up with "the devil." When she was deciding whom to choose, he kept beckoning and saying, "Hey, c'mon, c'mon!"

“In 1727, 12 Ursulines from France landed in what is now New Orleans. (See also: History of the Ursulines in New Orleans.) They were known commonly in the colony as the Filles du’ Casket or “casket girls” because of the wooden cases which contained their possessions on the trip from Rouen to the colony in the New World....”

“I came here because I have a gift and I want to share that gift. I am here to evangelize.”

God is always doing a 1000 things in every thing he does, and I for one will not place constraints on what he chooses to use to bring people to himself.

Who is to say how this might impact some young folks to think again about what it means to follow Christ.

OK, now I've watched Soeur Cristina FOUR times, and I've decided to put her in my parish newsletter. You go, girl.

That A-Jax, man, he's definitely in love. Now let's see if Li'l Sis pulls him to working for the Lord!
