At a lifetime achievement ceremony, Obama’s former secretary of state defended his policy toward Israel but went also gave verbal support to the Jewish State many have complained her old boss did not. Dinner at the American Jewish Congress gala at Cipriani in midtown Manhattan was a thick slick of brisket covered in gravy.

The cut was nearly as thick as the encomiums delivered from the dais to Hillary Clinton, the recipient of the evening’s lifetime achievement award.

Just spent the afternoon with a group of conservative Jews at a Synagogue’s Adult Education class/talk with a representative from CAMERA ( Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America, of which I was a researcher/writer for many years).

What they heard confirmed that the mainstream news is very biased against Israel, esp. the NY Times and the Wash. Post. If there were any Democrats in the group, they had second thoughts about which horse they were placing their bets on.

The meeting was non-political but given the support that the NYT and WP have given Hillary over the years, they understood who the enemies of freedom are.

Unspoken were the fiascoes of Benghazi, Cairo, and Syria.

Opening eyes, one meeting at a time.
