RC, Steve was an early source for intell that the plane did land! flew 3675 miles, and maybe shadowed Singapore airlines 68 to get to Central Asia.
Today’s diversionary info was that the plane headed south and went into the Indian Ocean. All the talking heads were in agreement.
Glad Steve is calling BS on the southern route.
It went north and so far 12 days have been needed for governments to deal with the truth and the after effects.
Also, Israel is taking no chances. And they have a great intell system.

I find that theory hard to believe.
I do believe we are capable of such a thing...but in this instance...with all the circumstances...hard to believe.
As a fan of computer games and Sims, people don’t normally delete saves. People rarely go in and clean out game data. Its not unheard of but not necessary because game saves are pretty small, especially with todays storage sizes. I’m hardcore about keeping my PC clean and tuned and I rarely delete game saves... Almost never. Very interesting. If he deleted those files then left, those files will still be there and can be recovered. If he was a power user and planning something, he would secure wipe the drive.

Well, let me qualify...a terrorist might try to go to Diego for some reason but we would have blown them out of the air, etc.
So could be we are trying to cover that up...but still think it is something else.

ELT(emergency locator transmitter) is activated upon impact. If the plane hit the water vertically going 500 mph or so the time of initial impact of the nose of the airplane with the water and the time the ELT(located in the tail) hit the water would be microseconds. Not enough time to get a signal out.
Now if the plane performed a controlled water ditching the ELT should have had time for at least a few seconds of transmission. Only problem is was there anything out in the middle of nowhere listening. It would also require more than one facility, satellite, ship, other airplane, airport, etc. to triangulate the signal in order to get a reliable location.
When it sinks, it starts a sonar pinging signal that can last ???? days before the batteries go dead. I think up to 30 days.
So if it is in the Indian Ocean and it is pinging..how long and how hard is it to find it?
