“aspiring”
that word is so overused today. it is a coverup word that small-time agents and promoters use to describe their non-a-level “talent”.
rappers are not musicians. i don’t care what anyone says. most can’t play any instruments, have no formal musical training, almost none actually sing, they just talk fast and shout, act tough, and go through a list of swears and vulgarities.
all rap is about today is making people angry. it’s the most aggressive, angry, violent crap spewed out of people’s mouths, ever.
He was just livin the music man, just livin the music.
“aspiring rapper”
Deosn’t ANYONE teach these kids realistically?
I guess any moron CAN shout profanity into a microphone, to the beat of alleged ‘music’ but seriously... not everyon is going to make $millions doing it.
I know we had some football and athletic ‘stars’ in my high school who thought they were everything...
Until the Buffalo Bills “donkey basketball” came and they met real live football player and saw how huge they were.
Realistically they learned that they were NEVER going to be that big or be able to play professionally, so their goals change to more realistic possibilities.
This is what kids need to see- realistic possibilities
oh i did forget, it is EITHER violence OR about getting some sex. Usually both.
At least now he’s got Street Cred.
it’s like you and I had our brains synced up when writing our comments.
Oh, the level to which the journalism trade has deteriorated. The article didn’t even mention how he was in the process of turning his life around...
Well, being executed for murder will give this rapper plenty of “street cred.”
But don’cha know we Conservatives need to start embracing these people.....

I wonder what a young white one would be called...a Bubble Gum wrapper?
This undated photo provided by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice shows Ray Jasper III. Jasper, convicted in the 1998 murder of David Alejandro, is set for lethal injection Wednesday evening, March 19, 2014.
I thought they meant he was an aspirin wrapper......
It’s glorified, over-promoted karaoke.
(The murderer is a citizen of the Netherlands)
not even. karaoke singers SING songs, and those songs have actual MUSIC tracks.
don’t rip karaoke. they actually are more musical than the rappers.
Seldom is art so directly benefited by the law.
