But why did India military missed the flight over it's jurisdiction? May be they did not? ...McInerny said the Malaysian plane flew in the "shadow" of another flight so it wasn't picked up on India radar - gave the specific airline and flight number of the plane it followed - sounded plausible.....

There were reports of a low flying airliner over the Maldives. This would be on the way to Pakistan if they were flying around India.
