LOL!
“They dont have a box for him to stand on?”
LOL;
he’s really a little mean man in every way
They are so ugly....but I must admit blowing up pipelines is a game Putin knows all too well.
Nothing however is as ugly as what seems to be emerging in the Ukraine as a new government. Nothing is this fascist and evil.
My friends in Georgia who were all about the new Ukraine with slogans, etc, during the riots are slowly and carefully backing away. As you can imagine they detest Putin.
They used to be major cheerleaders, and now they tell me "we hope it works out ok".
That’s kind of where I am too. I wish I knew people living there or had more experience. I am watching the Israeli media but even they apparently are not getting it right all the time...
Love it. Thanks!
I know. I find myself trusting Putin more than our own president. How much longer do we have again under this dingdong who makes me embarrassed to be an American?
What about the uh, gay dude and the uh, coke user? :)
This time is different though, Misha was a character whom many loved and supported.
Popcorn is on my grocery list.
One of the funniest news items I have seen was a Russian story about a woman in Serbia who was very old and had lived in the same house her entire life. Yet she had lived under 4 different governments. And a cemetary where her husband was buried, very close to her home, was a place she now needed a passport to visit.
Let him clean it up I say.
The nationalists are there but the threat from them is very much exaggerated. This had been a revolt against Yanukovich, led by the Russian-speaking Kiev, Ukrainian-speaking Lviv and supported by others ethnicities, Jews included. Overall, Jews are as split as the rest of the society, a Jew in Kiev or Lviv probably supports it, one in Kharkiv, Donetsk or Moscow, probably not. I have given a number of references to Jewish supporters on this forum, so it’s not a clear cut picture of “neo-nazis have taken over”
This overblown nationalist threat is getting to the point where it’s absurd. Russians call everybody who supported the revolt or the new Ukrainian government a “nazi Banderite” - including Jews themselves. Most recent example is singer Makarevich who was called “Jew Banderite” - a contradiction in terms if I ever heard of one.
There is a lot of media out there which supports at least half of the new government in Ukraine being very very far right and white supremacist.
