And as of today they are not Ukrainian. Just how is the West supposed to ship arms into the Crimea?

We may as well argue what Russia is actually doing to destablize the Ukraine, i.e. sending fake protesters into the cities. They are already killing Ukrainians in the Eastern Ukraine. The Ukraine has not retaliated yet but the moment they do against these "innocent Russians" it will give Putin the pretext he needs to invade the Eastern Ukraine.

Of course giving his cheering section on FR even more reason to high five.

The invasions / annexations are so textbook. I just can't believe people are stupid enough to swallow it.

Like all Muslim populations the Tartars have a small number of militant jihadists fighting in the Middle East. However, I kind of doubt they're going to cause much trouble for the new Crimean government, given the 'gloves off' approach Russia takes toward terrorism and civil disorder.
