I think what we’re seeing from the Malaysians is that they have no serious, unified, and, coherent disaster response ability right now. Various Malaysian agencies are conducting their own independent investigations, making various statements about their efforts, and, often contradicting each other in the process.

The Chinese? Those sat’ pics were weird and I don’t know whether they were truly trying to help with this search or just making some kind of PR effort. Their internal images should have been much better and more indicative than the ones they released and yet there seemed to be nothing ultimately to them. I don’t get that yet.

The U.S.? I think caught off-foot and unprepared to assist. We keep waiting for the avalanche of intelligence which we all know should be coming forth and yet very little so far. In this digital age a week might as well be a decade for entities that are use to real time, 24/7 information on call in making their decisions.

The idea of hijacking the aircraft and using it as a flying bomb is attractive. But there are thousands of surplus airliners in storage all over the world. Wouldn’t it be easier to simply buy and return to service an airliner from storage rather than go through the trouble of hijacking a new aircraft?

It crashed. Nothing else makes sense. If you want a jumbo jet why take one full of passengers? If it was ransom why hasnt there been a ransom note and where did it land? There are also much easier ways of getting hostages. Could have been a hijacking gone wrong or a suicide bomber but that plane is wreckage.

I heard an interview yesterday with a former Intelligence official who had also retired from the USAF. His opinion was that, with all the neighboring countries, their satellites and their own nations defense systems, there is no way the flight path of this plane is not known. What he found to be the "scariest" part is that NO ONE is willing to tell the public anything about it. He said the tight lipped security itself tells you more than what IS being said. His theory was that this plane did not crash but was diverted. The "how" is more of a mystery to intelligence community at this point.
He was asked by the host "but why has no terrorist group claimed responsibility?" His answer was very thought provoking to me - he said that the normal (or normal as we know it) response from these groups in the past has been to puff up and claim their group was the one able to pull this off. He said the quiet is deafening. No group is claiming anything...not to know anything about it, not to have been involved in it or know anything about it! That made a lot of sense to me. When in the past have we ever had an incident that some group did not claim to be involved in, even if it turned out to be BS in the end....someone ALWAYS claims to have done this or that and the fact that no one is claiming any involvement, scares the %%%% out of this guy. He said, in the end, we might not ever know what became of the passengers, but we will know what becomes of that plane because it will not be good.

So some key Malaysian officials kept searchers busy looking in the South China Sea for wreckage while the plane made its getaway toward the Andaman Islands.

What would motivate 10 plus countries NOT to find the plane in any hurry? => 2, 3 maybe 5 colluded in a decision to shoot down a rogue plane. Bad news for every country in the world because the first question at every press briefing world wide will be: “Does the government have a periodical/contingence plan for shooting down a high jacked plane?”

Let the wreckage soak good and long, it’s serves the greater good. The alternative, the admission that a small group of governments decided to shoot down a rogue airliner, represents a paradigm shift historically/economically.

Let the debris soak good and long, we can investigate and effectively deny the reality for at least a decade to come.

Does anyone really think the shoot down of an airliner wouldn’t happen sooner or later...really?

Obama will send a 777 to the Ocean coordinates and blow it out of the sky so a debris field will shut off all the questions making a lot of spooky dudes very nervous.
