Is that the same “expert” led the TWA800 coverup, um, I mean “investigation”? The one that ignored all the witnesses who saw a rocket, and decided the plane just spontaneously blew up due to an electrical spark in the fuel tank?

"...but still, the technology is readily available...."
No, it is not.
There is some technology that could possibly disable some systems via directed energy, but none that can emulate some form of remote control. Not even close.

I think you will find engine data goes through ACARS as well as all maintenance data.

Here is what is key to me. The pilot on Shep's program said the 'pings' stop once the landing gear goes down. The pings went on for four hours. The plane had six hours of fuel.
Therefore, the plane did not fly until it ran out of fuel, aka Payne Stewart. It either crashed or landed after hour four.

Since everyone has expressed an opinion as to what happened to MH370, here's more to add to the
fog. In reality? Who knows what happened? There is a lot more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye. I find it hard to believe that a 777 has landed somewhere, more likely it has crashed and the wreckage has not yet been found. I note however, that line from Shakespeare's
Julius Ceasar, "Beware the ides of March!" has been circling in my mind for some short time.

Looking at a crude map of the range of the jet with the fuel on-board, that range would seem to put it very roughly 2/3 of the way to Iran. Any chance the plane was diverted with the hope of making it there? Almost certainly not, I suppose.

I once picked up a girl in a bar. We went to her place and her walls were covered with pictures from milk cartons. One of them kinda’ looked like me. I called my parents and said “Now I know why you don’t have any pictures of me when I was younger than 5 years old.”

Perhaps that ocean has its Asian version of the Burmuda Triangle just like we have here =)

We will see debris soon. Right after the CIA dumps it into the ocean.
Anyone in remote Burma or in the PI see and hear any gunfire over the past two days. Those were Seals taking the plane back.

There was talk about two days ago about how 'someone' should look at those sensors to see if an a-bomb had been detonated...I've heard nothing yet.
Hows' about you?

I’d wager that Janeway and company would find a good plot, writing, aliens that weren’t made up with cheap latex that speak English before they could find that plane.

The one that ignored all the witnesses who saw a rocket, and decided the plane just spontaneously blew up due to an electrical spark in the fuel tank?I was watching live coverage of the TWA 800 event and there were multiple calls from just regular folks who saw what they described as a missile trail going upward. Then they saw the fireball in the sky.
Next day, those reports were not spoken of again.
This inclination of our government to hide things from us is more than a little disturbing.
