When I was a kid an adult cousin on my father’s side ODed on something, I’m not positive but I think it was a speedball (heroin plus cocaine). His brother found his corpse face down in the bathroom. The only time I’ve ever seen my father cry was at his wake.

My Mother had a relative that blew out his spleen on bad smack. AFAIK, the sh*tbag is still alive...must be in his 60’s by now.
The only illegal drug I’ve ever had any interest in try is LSD. Not that I ever have or would, but, I think it would be interesting to try. OTOH, living in modern day Amerika is a “bad” trip, so I’ll go with that.
I’ll stick to my occasional “bark at the moon” episodes fueled by alcohol.
