This underscores the eternal confounding problem with time, time zones and the public understanding of WHAT?
Universal/ZULU/Greenwich?
Local time?
Malaysia time?
Beijing time?
I understand that "reporters" are science and technology imbeciles, generally, and are incapable of asking the critical question when a "fact" is reported.
The "time' when contact with Flight MH370 was "lost" has been all over the place. And this is of paramount importance to verify that the search is ongoing anywhere near where the incident occurred.
Beijing and Kuala Lumpur are the same time, which coincides with local time. Hanoi an hour earlier, +8 and +7 Zulu respectively.
Would be Zulu if they were directly quoting the pilot.
Why such a narrow range?
