Yesterday I read on here thst this is a false story. Is it?
If that map is anywhere near accurate, the plane would have just recently reached cruising altitude when contact was lost.
oxygen deficiency incapacitated the crew?
TICKET AGENT: "Yes"
TRAVELER: "I'M OUTTA HERE!!"
Anyone ever see the sci-fi movie, “Millenium”? That might explain it.
This underscores the eternal confounding problem with time, time zones and the public understanding of WHAT?
Universal/ZULU/Greenwich?
Local time?
Malaysia time?
Beijing time?
I understand that "reporters" are science and technology imbeciles, generally, and are incapable of asking the critical question when a "fact" is reported.
The "time' when contact with Flight MH370 was "lost" has been all over the place. And this is of paramount importance to verify that the search is ongoing anywhere near where the incident occurred.
HOAX.
Has Obama made any sort of statement???
What was the Egypt airline that crashed in the Atlantic, and there was alla akbar on the radio?
This is a lead that should be pursued; however, if the plane in front was truly 30 minutes ahead, that would separate the aircraft by approx 250 miles. Establishing VHF comm would be difficult but maybe they were on HF. I’d also like to know how the crew was sure they had the right aircraft and not another...
Had the plane disintegrated over the water there would be little pieces of it floating over a wide area and it sure seems like those pieces would have been discovered by now. Seat cushions, insulation, bodies, etc.
And even if the transponder stopped, the plane can still be seen and tracked by radar. You would think they'd have a good idea of where it started descending and dropped out of radar view.
It is as if the plane went into the water in its entirety or it hit land instead. Perhaps they tried a water landing, but you would think there'd still be some evidence of it.
That part of the world does have huge thick jungles. If they dumped their fuel prior to crashing that would help hide the crash.
What's the big secret? How many Boeing 777s over Viet Nam were headed for Narita at the time?
Starting to look like an episode of “lost”
I think the previously shattered wingtip will prove to be the answer. Shoddy repairs have been the cause of many accidents.
I wonder if they lost all power and had to ‘land’ in the sea, sinking intact quickly after that. No debris?
I was curious about the spy satellites but here according to Drudge article:
The United States extensively reviewed imagery taken by American spy satellites for evidence of a mid-air explosion, but saw none, a U.S. government source said. The source described U.S. satellite coverage of the region as thorough.
So no mid-air explosion according to satellites —
I would think that somebody would be checking out these two pilots and some of their recent activities. It might be a good idea to start with their home computers if they left them behind. Medical records should be reviewed and any friends, family and acquaintances should be interviewed.
FBI fears four passengers on missing Malaysian jet used stolen passports as ‘mid-air disintegration’ theory investigated.
