ROME (Reuters) - Interpol is investigating more suspect passports used to board a missing Malaysia Airlines flight, in addition to two European ones that were falsely used by unidentified passengers, the global police agency said on Sunday.
An Italian man and an Austrian man were falsely listed as passengers on Beijing-bound flight MH370, which disappeared after takeoff from Kuala Lumpur early on Saturday with 239 people aboard.
Authorities later confirmed the two men - Austrian Christian Kozel and Italian Luigi Maraldi - were not on the plane, and their passports had been stolen in Thailand within the last two years.
An Interpol spokeswoman said a check of all documents used to board the plane had revealed more "suspect passports" that were being further investigated.
She was unable to give further information on the number of documents or the country they related to.

Regardless of the abnormalities of passports, etc. If there is no credible claim of responsibility by Muslim Terrorists that includes evidence, then their purpose is defeated. Chalk it up to an accident, equipment failure, human error - any of that.
China is being attacked by Islamic terrorists. First the train station massacre and now this China bound jet with mostly Chinese passengers. It will be interesting to see how the Chinese react.
I’m flabbergasted that a stolen passport, reported as required, doesn’t raise flags on an international flight!
You’d think if you had your passport stolen and reported it, then it would be flagged just like people on the no-fly list are flagged. I don’t get it.
Some countries are not yet concerned about terrorism because they believe they will not be targeted.
Maybe it was “de-flagged” somehow.
For those who bitch about the TSA and airline security in the U.S., this incident should provide food for thought.
“It” being the passport(s).
I’m sure the various Islamic terrorist groups around the world have sophisticated programmers on their payrolls who can hack into passport databases and modify and remove entries.
Eventually, there will be a conspiracy theory that all the passports were fake, no one was on the plane and it wasn’t even a plane that took off from Kuala Lumpur, but a gsuided missile drone disguised as a Boeing 777 that struck a secret target in the Philippine jungle.
It could be a jihad of one Muzzie.
Plane was full of “immigrants”.
Uighers in western China have no need to make sensational media claims of responsibility. To think otherwise shows a western lack of understanding into how Chinese systems work.
This isn’t Al Qaeda. They are not looking to “terrorize” anyone. They are looking to kill Han. To claim responsibility would incite massive reprisals against them in all of China’s minority zones.
They will stay quiet.
Like 9/11 you mean?

Malaysia is certainly not Somalia, but it is an center of trade and travel between SE Asia and the Middle East where Muslim terrorists can easily hide and operate.
And a few other countries with a majority population of a terrorist persuasion quietly abet, if not actually aid.
They are.
Thank you and God Bless
Your post is completely offensive. Americans aren’t ‘bitching’ about TSA. They are voicing valid complaints about having their private parts groped, handicapped and elderly people being humiliated- their colostomy bags being squeezed, diapers being mocked and children being groped while burka clad muslims sail through without being subject to any further scrutiny.
HINT- ISLAMIC TERRORISTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HEIGHTENED SECURITY BUT AREN’T BEING SUBJECT TO IT.
I hear these claims all the time but I think it's more urban myth.
I travel for business probably 20 times a year and I have never had a bad experience with TSA - except the long waits and the grouchy people I have to stand in line with.
No burquas or colostomy bags, but I’ve seen men with rag-wrapped heads waved on to planes, after which little old ladies in wheelchairs were basically frisked before being allowed on to the jetway. My three cats were inspected for five minutes by TSA but swarthy freaks weren’t given a second look. And the most I fly is twice a year.
