Peter King (RINO-NY) was on FNC a little while ago. Wasn't really listening except a bit at the end. The host asked if he was running for President in 2016 - he's going to NH for some event and giving a speech soon and he's going to give consideration to a run. They then played a clip of Rand Paul at CPAC and his comments about the NSA and cell phones (the government has no right to listen to your calls), which he received a lot of applause. King said something to the effect that someone that made comments like that should not be President and the NSA is just doing what they do to track terrorists and drug lords, etc. and that the NSA shouldn't have to get a warrant (heavy sigh).

While some are coming to the US to make better lives for themselves and their families, as also stated (I think it was Ann), many are coming because they believe in the welfare state (e.g., they’re socialists and not ever going to vote for a Pubbie).

Milton Friedman said, “You cannot simultaneously have free immigration and a welfare state.” We have both.

As a side note, I would add that immigrants need to assimiliate into the American culture and learn the English language. Like most people back in the day, when my Grandfather came over from Europe, he wanted to be an American and part of the American community/culture. He learned English (on his own), was very proud to become a citizen, worked hard, raised a family, etc. One of my big gripes is that you see pictures (albeit mostly Mexicans) that don’t want to assimilate - - they are illegals that march down the street caring Mexican flags and flipping us off.

It is a function of numbers. We have a hard time assimilating these huge numbers. We have 45 million foreign born in this country. In 1970, one in 21 was foreign born; today it is one in 8, the highest in 90 years; and within a decade it will be one in 7, the highest in our history. We have just had the two highest decades of immigration in our history--over 25 million have entered in the 20 years ending in 2010. And the Gang of 8 bill wants to add another 30 million IN A DECADE.

Consider this: There are 10.4 million students from immigrant households in public schools, accounting for one in five public school students. Of these students, 78 percent speak a language other than English at home. Overall, one in four public school students now speaks a language other than English at home.

So done all cooking duties, ready for nap. Let me tell my story.

Tis on Facebook. No wait....background. I have two beloved nieces, not perfect people but really nice girls. Took care of them when I was a young teenager, love them greatly. These nieces are now entering their 50’s.

One niece...we’ll call T, is “dating” and older guy. Well he’s 65 and she’s 50....it’s not an absurd age difference but T always like older guys....first marriage guy thirty years older than her. Whatever.

Niece filed bankruptcy and got a boob job with the proceeds....hey, she was like 18, her older husband did the deed but note that T is concerned with her boobs. Of late she’s been terrified of going through menopause and ingests any meds a doc will give her to stop the process.

Her boyfriend, he’s a nice guy, at least on the surface. By me he’s an old guy who likes young girls with big tits and he will NEVER marry T.

I already unfriended T’s boyfriend as...guys, he is a radical lib and right there you know he’s a dumbbell. He would respond to my posts with silly lib claptrap I just don’t like the guy, gives me the creepazoids.

So I’d written a post about being on jury duty cause guys....and for TWO long days just sitting around....but the county got me off their backs for a couple of weeks. T copied my post, to tell me her jury story, which was intriguing, btw. So this let’s creepy boyfriend respond and guess what he says?

“They would have kept you off of jury duty if they knew you were such an extremist.”

Yeah, he typed that...in public. The lib talking point.

My name is NOT Dubya. I will not remain silent and ignore such name calling. It affects how people think and if you don’t respond, people think it’s true. I do NOT build bombs in my garage. Timothy McVeigh was an extremist; the Shoe Bomber was an extremist.

I work WITHIN our political system and to call me that name is right out of the Alinsky playbook.

Guys, that creepy lib jerk is NOT going to get away with it.

So I unfriended him, her, my other niece...yada yada cause it just seems my politics are over the head of my family, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

My OTHER niece called me, this after two weeks and I’d left an angry message on T’s phone. I knew it was strange she wasn’t calling me back.

Where it stands now....somehow, someway I’ll make up with T. According to other niece, creepy boyfriend supposedly heartily apologized, said he didn’t mean anything so harsh.

If this guy weren’t such a big lib I might believe him. “I don’t watch Fox news,” my niece told me once, “because I don’t think it would be allowed.”

Serious....creepy boyfriend does not let her watch Fox....yep...libs way of handling truth, avoid it all together.

I don’t want to be around this guy. Also T tells me she might vote for Hillary next election.

Here’s my new rule, anyone....and I mean ANYONE...who tells me that he or she voted for Hillary, I will never speak to them again in my life.

Oh sure, vote for who you want, but anyone who would pull the lever for a woman who ignored desperate cries for help, a woman who could DO such a thing....

....well that fact tells me a lot about that person and I don’t have to associate with someone embracing such cruelty.
