I think that’s only true if legal immigration is held at the numbers we have now. If there was a pause for a few years on any immigration at all “after the borders were sealed” and then maybe 5-10k per year were let in only on their merits, I think it would work for the country instead of against.
When asked a question they don't want to answer, they just reply with something totally off the wall, out in left field, not germane to the question, bloviating, ad nauseum, etc., etc.
Not that the DNC approved journ-0-list will keep needling like they would with a Republican, but a Republican could use the same method by simply doing the same as long as it took. It might be a good idea for the Republican to look at video tapes when the same journ-0-list interviewed a dem and let him off the hook so they could bring that up as a response.
Bottom line is, do not play their game. Write your own rules. We already know the journ-0-lists are biased and use the rules to promote the DNC candidates, so... Don't play their game.
Cruz is good at it. Sarah needed that skill in ‘08, but she did not realize then just how blatantly and twistedly biased they were going to be toward her. I think she knows far better now.
Rand Paul is a closet democrat.
The exit strategy is an alternative that could be offered at the same time as a repeal. However, the Reps would be foolish to offer an alternative now, which would become the focus of the Dems in the midterms. Instead of talking about the damage Obamacare is doing, the Reps would be busy defending their own plan, which isn't a law.
Medicaid is a bad system. 40% of doctors don't accept Medicaid patients because the reimbursement rate is so low. We should be trying to reduce Medicaid, not expand it like Obamacare does. The Feds will pay 100% of the additional Medicaid costs due to Obamacare for the first three years and then 90% thereafter.
Larri....
I don't think we need any more packers on here then y'all already got.
LOL! Might improve his game - - he’d have a better excuse for do-overs.
With his abysmal foreign and domestic policies he’s kind of up to at least his ankles in hot water. Problem is, I don’t think he cares - - in fact, everything could be working out as Chicago Commies/Soros/val-jal planned.
Meanwhile back in Denver stoned golfcourse caretakers keep trying to hit a frozen golf ball on a frozen green to no avail.
Thanks for the link. I really like Caddell. GOPers could learn a lot listening to him.
Why Caddell remains a democrat I will never understand.
CPAC and the ACU are a total fraud. Careerist GOP Establishment tools run amok.
Didn’t see it in the article. Do you recall if they are also the same group (or part of it) that was part of the big push to get a Dim SOS in Colorado a few years ago? Perhaps I’m not remembering correctly, but that is ringing a bell with me (may need more coffee ;-)
I thought we had an exit strategy. The healthcare system we had before zero care. Whenever govt. enters into the realm of private enterprise everything gets screwed up. Why the surprise.?
Four million Americans graduate from high school every year.
Couldn’t agree more. My grassroots immigration organization had a booth there for five years. We stopped once Cardenas took over.
Its a mess and if we don’t capture the Presidency in 2016 it may not get better.
Ralph, Ralph, Ralph!
You do NOT win by out-democrating the democrats!
Whenever the democrat talks about evil Republicans not giving out government money/help, you mention two and only two things:
-Jobs!
-Overspending!
The greatest thing an unemployed person could get is a job. Not an EBT card and no job, not a free Section 8 apartment and no job, not a free phone and no job. Even people who are handicapped in all but the most severe ways can benefit by a job. On jobs, Obama has failed utterly and everyone knows it. Work, not welfare!
Everyone knows we are horribly overspent. Many people can push the thought out of their heads, because the numbers are too colossal and crushing... But... People need to be CONSTANTLY reminded we have no money! China has us over a barrel! People do viscerally understand and worry about this. Keep bringing it up.
Your memory is intact. They thought they could beat Scott Gessler easily yet he won the election. Getting various secretaries of state has been a Democrat strategy for some time because the SoS controls vote counting and how the state handles various voting issues.
With a little luck we’re hoping Gessler will win the election for governor this year.
Did you see the above posting that Carson is a gun grabber?
That would be a no go for me.
Very good points.
Only a few interviewers will stop Dims from bloviating and spewing the daily WH Talking Points.
Hannity and Megyn are pretty good about saying you didn’t answer my question. Greta and BOR sometimes push back.
I think Sarah got a lot of bad advice from Nicole and Schmidt (McLame’s advisors), and there have been articles published that said they undermined her (I’m sure you know that).
Cruz is great at it and I think Dr. Ben is good at it as well.
Medicare will consume the entire federal budget if not reformed. Over 40% of the costs of Medicare come from the General Fund. The HI payroll tax and Medicare premiums don't cover the true costs of the program. The average recipient get three times more in benefits than they contributed to the system. And we have an aging population that will increase costs just by their numbers.
