One of the greatest failures of the GOPeunuchs in the past twenty years was allowing the enemy to get away with co-opting the red/blue identifiers.

It may seem a simple thing, but aside from being a bellwether of 'leadership' castration, it ranks with the left's having been allowed to purloin the classic definition of 'liberal' as understood by our Founders.

Both are prime examples of marxist bastardization in which the thing stated is almost invariably the polar opposite in reality.

Anyone still thinking that my oft posted 'american media domestic enemy' graphic is hyperbolic, need only understand that none of the above could have taken root w/o our seditious media's ceaseless drumbeat thereof.

The problem is that the blue areas are where the people live. Red areas are very low population in comparison.

Excellent points. We must take the language back.

Red = Communist, Leftist, Anti-American

Liberal = Someone who believes in the principles of the enlightenment, individual liberty.

Texas is doing well despite its bumbling politicians who don’t seem to understand that oratory is one of the most important skills of any elected official. I voted for Perry because he was the best choice of several bad options. Perry did a good job despite his obvious weakness in public debate and occasional deviations from sound conservative principles. However, he did keep taxes low, spend less, and promoted business in Texas. He deserves some credit for those three things.

One of my pet peeves, as well. This switch in the red/blue identities completely negates the old "better dead than red" slogan going back a hundred years.
