As controversy grows over the regrading of SAT examinations, thousands of people have started sharing their own scores on social networks to put future generations at ease.
Well-known figures have been conspicuously quiet about their results, however, but with the likes of Ke$ha, James Woods and Natalie Portman reportedly getting close to a perfect 1600, perhaps they felt they'd only add pressure rather than ease it.
Famous faces with far lower SAT scores include Bill Cosby, who got a score lower than 500, Sopranos actress Drea De Matteo, believed to have scored around 800, and even former US President Bill Clinton, whose 1020 puts him a few hundred points below successor George W Bush...

ChimpyBushHitler is smarter than Big Bill Clinton. Even AlGrrr got only a 1355 versus 1206 for George W. Bush.
Of course, we don't know Barry "MomJeans" Obama's score, so you can assume it was less than 1000...
How the hell do you get a 1020 on your SAT and a Rhodes scholarship...
Yet Gore flunked out of both Divinity school and law school.
Odumbo was taking roof hits and missed the SAT’s
Some people do not do well on standardized tests. My guess is as with most Democrats, Bill is bad at math.
Winthrop Rockefeller?

When your mentor is a racist US Senator (Fullbright).
Limbaugh got a 1573. Wow
And the Electoral College too.
That was my first question.
Meanwhile talk show host Rush Limbaugh, political commentator Bill O'Reilly and actor and economist Ben Stein picked up near-perfect scores of 1530, 1585 and 1573 respectively.
It's not just conservatives with high scores though: Al Gore kept the tally high for the Democrat camp with a score of 1355. US president Barack Obama, on the other hand, has repeatedly refused to release his education records.
Not all celebrities fared brilliantly however, with presenter Howard Stern rumoured to have picked up a low 870, and baseball star Alex Rodriguez reaching just 910. Meanwhile stand-up comedian Janeane Garofalo is thought to have scored around 950.
If Odinga had done well on his SATs, they would be plastering his score everywhere but we never hear about it.
I like this:
Janeane Garofalo is thought to have scored around 950
Buried near the bottom of the article
US president Barack Obama, on the other hand, has repeatedly refused to release his education records.
There’s a different test for foreign students.
Even I know that 1020 plus 200 equals 1220, so 1206 is less than 200 above Clinton's score.
We had the Florida Senior Placement Test. A perfect score was 495. There were 5 parts and each had a maximum of 99.
I scored 484 with a perfect score on four of them. Verbal kept me down. Oddly the older I get the worse I am in math but I think my verbal ability is a bit better except I keep getting mental blocks and can’t remember words.
According to the article, “Kesha” scored a 1500. Perhaps, but she is probably young enough to have taken the three part SAT with a maximum score of 2400.
The old joke with the SATs was that you got 200 points just for putting your name on the cover page.
I’ve always been a decent taker of standardized tests, but I know people who are astronomically more intelligent than me who scored abysmally on the SATs. Intelligence is not an objective measure despite what they want people to believe.
It’s like Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle: as soon as you observe someone/something, you change it. By testing people, you are putting them under pressure and changing the way they think. Making a test timed put even more pressure on the tester.
Odinga did have his SAT score plastered to his forehead, but it fell off onto his prayer rug.
Good catch.
