Two women: Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. The first is relentlessly mocked and derided by liberals and the media. The second is still regarded as a paragon of wisdom, despite the fact that her much ballyhooed

Hillary Clinton, really?
I get that a lot of people want her to be president, but it's been a long, long time since anybody called her wise, let alone a paragon of wisdom ...
It is a mystery that so many Republicans allow the media and pundits so much power when picking our candidates.
Yeah, we kept hearing McCain and Romney were so “electable.” I don’t think that word means what they think it means.
I did always think that. Sad but true
Never too late to stop thinking that ;)
Doesn’t have to as long as they keep conservatives out of power. It just has to get the agenda met. The simple solution is to not listen to them.
I think the only way Sarah will ever have an position in D.C. is to get elected to congress or the presidency. Any republican who MIGHT win the white house in 2016 would not even invite her to secret celebration party.
A snipped Sarah, reading the Constitution (the Riot Act!) to Barack Obama and Slick Willie in open court -- in Idaho -- in a mellifluous contralto?
Be still my heart!
She and Slick are more like an "Octagon".
Ah yes...the Legacy networks of somewhat inbred patricians living on their grand father’s reputations.
A free market of ideas is definitely a ruthless filter for shaking that tree, but as you said....if you get a sinecure over at CIA or State, you can cover a lot of feeble thoughts.
Too bad the wreckage that they leave in their wake is so appalling.
I’d give pretty much all I own to be there for that.
Better in Alaska though. In the dead of winter. Northern border. Then leave them there. Naked. No press, no pics. Just “GET TO DA CHOPPA!!” and leave them stranded.
Justice.
Hillary wasn't the media's pick in 2008 -- Obama most certainly was.
Initially, the media supported Hillary -- because she was seen as inevitable. But the moment Obama became a credible candidate, they changed horses inside a week -- raving about him and dumping on her.
It became apparent that they didn't like her then. And they probably still don't.
That's Guerneville, CA -- pronounced "gurneyville". Beautiful area. Home of Korbel champagne.
Hillary and the Cult
sounds like an 80s band....
“....how shallow can one be?”
Whether truth or myth, it’s said that first televised presidential debate in 1960 debate between Nixon and Kennedy, was affected by the visual. Those who only listened said Nixon won; those who watched on TV said Kennedy won. JFK was young/youthful looking;Nixon was haggard looking/had a “5 o’clock shadow.” Turned the campaign toward JFK. Voters have been shallow for a long time now.
thank you for the correction and yes it is a beautiful area, it’s been years since I was there last. Another correction, the place is called Bohemian Grove.
Ted Cruz would.
And as a result, we have the mess we have. No one thinks. They ‘Feel’.
I have no doubt at all it hosed that election. Lots of women fawned over Clinton. God knows why. He wasn’t much to see. Reagan was seen as Grandfatherly. Good for us but really, it wasn’t his looks nor Clinton that made them what they were for good or bad. It was their ideas. And people have to have a come to Jesus moment that those are what matter.
The deciding factor is the Ministry of Information. Not just 'news' programs. They even disseminate via entertainment programs like SNL.
Don't you mean "Guerneville"? We lived there for a while when I was a kid, in a truly horrible neighborhood.
