Listen, and understand. They are out there. They can't be bargained
with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And
they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are co-opted.

Good for her!

I am glad that she finally realized that she should not work for a Russian propaganda network.

That is right, she can always work for a propaganda network in the States.

Many people in the USA from the McCarthy and Rosenberg days never could think/admit of Russia propagandists and even spies being active in the USA. Even Ike really came down on McCarthy. I believe Truman really distrusted Russia and communists in the USA but he didn’t do much cleaning out. I suspect the Chicago politics was to much involved. Chicago politics was loaded with communist and Soviet sympathizers/activists. Think Obama and his enablers such as Jaretts, Axelrods and Ayers and their ilk.

Perhaps, she will. Maybe, she will do something in a different area. Who knows? She still did the right thing in this situation. Maybe, she could bring that sort integrity to a different network.

Current issues aside, she is only NOW learning that Russia Today is a propaganda channel?

A local public television station shows programs from BBC, Deutsche Welle, and Japan's NHK. It's all pretty innoculous. Stuff to do with animals and cheeses and (from Japan) robots and what not.

But if Britain or Japan or Germany found themselves at war and at odds with the US (not so likely) what they show and what we think about it might change.

The parallel's not exact, of course. I'd suppose RT is more propagandistic than those other channels. I suspect she might have known that it was a mouthpiece for Putin, but in ordinary times, when there's no war or crisis, she figured she could live with that.

Al Jazeera and China's CCTV are probably similar. Most of the time American reporters figure they can fit in there -- until they decide they can't.

It really creeps me out to see Americans and Englishmen as RT reporters and TV hosts.

It’s like don’t they have any pride?

Perhaps they are out of a job and need to feed hungry mouths.

In situations like these one has to forgo one’s pride.

Yawn.

The anchors on the alphabet networks are so enslaved to Obama they won’t walk away...

this says to me that at least someone has integrity...and it isn’t the American media.

Besides, how old is this little girl? A news anchor at what, 28? How much does she know about the world?

Good on these women for risking their paychecks to stand for what they believe. Of course, they might have had a clue long before today what RTs bias was going to be in matters lkke this. And I’ll give RT some credit for being honest about being their government’s bitch, unlike CNN, NPR, foxnews and the rest of the lame stream media here.

There are FReepers who don't know it, and even a couple who don't care.

How about naming them so we can attack them personally?

Now here's someone with an apt screename. ;-)
