Rachel Canning, if you want your parents to pay for your education, would you obey their rules? I bet you wouldn’t.
What a snot-nose kid!
When my kids turned 18 and tried mild rebellion, I always said: “You don’t like it here? There’s the door!”
“The (friends) father who is footing her legal bills and expenses is a idiot beyond understanding... “
My guess is he is in it for the money from the movie rights.
You just know hollyweird will want this story. Everyone will be paid for their story.
The parents should counter suit for alienation of affection.
I sincerely hope these parents have children besides this disrespectful brat.
I’m always negatively impressed by the higher proportion of ill-motivated, entitled-feeling, petulant and parent-and-authority-hating kids that arise from liberal families.

I think your observation is correct.
If I ever sued my parents like this when I was 18 years old, they'd end up scraping off the driveway with a spatula after I got my @ss kicked by the rest of the family. LOL.
I read about this earlier. Something's not right about it. Almost as if that other father has a crush on the girl.
I think we may have found the new pinnacle in ENTITLEMENT attitude by today’s ‘children’.
She doesn’t want to follow the house rules, but she wants to live on THEIR money.
First—NO ONE in my senior high school class would have even thought to make such demands.
Second- we would have been handed out clothes, books, the car keys taken, and we would have been escorted to the road-—we lived rural. We would NOT be allowed to return.
Telling kids that their parents have to cover them with health insurance is just plain wrong. Some kids apparently think that they can make other demands.
When I was 26, I had been out of high school for 9 years, and I had moved into my own house—which I BOUGHT. I had worked during all those years.
I was making about $7.50 an hour & the house payment was exactly ONE DOLLAR more than the rent on the apartment I was in.
I have owned my own homes ever since——almost 48 years now.
I would have told this ungrateful wretch of a kid to never darken my door again——EVER. She deserves nothing from my efforts. IF I have done the best I can & she turns on me like a rattlesnake-—she can keep on going.
I wonder what kind of parent she will be & what her kids will do against her???
>>Almost as if that other father has a crush on the girl.
You mean the guy that drove her home drunk at 3:00 AM? Yeah, bingo!
Even her makeup isn’t cheap stuff!!
Her spinsterhood is assured.
Li’l B-Rat.
Three words: Get a job.
Well, she is cute. In a one weekend only kind of way.
She’s a member of the IBTC.
I forgot...Laz would hit it.
Well that does put a different slant on things.
Why do you say the father is very liberal?
She has two sisters, and I think at least one of them is younger.

Canning told the newspaper he and his wife have disagreed on typical family issues.
Im a liberal, liberal parent, he said. I wish I could have grown up in my house. I was tougher on my cops at work than Ive ever been at my home, thats for sure.
