In Wisconsin that means until all fines are paid and he has completed any probation. I think that sentence is too light. There are worse consequences if an election official wrongly questions a voter's right to cast a ballot. Topsy turvy!
Milwaukee voter who voted twice in 2012 sentenced to 9 months in jail.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
some folks in Ohio are worried.
NOT. Holder has their backs.
Here I thought that such a thing was now perfectly legal in today’s America. /sarc
Funny how the pressitutes can always manage to learn their name, age, sentence, address, but never how they voted.
One man! No mention of the other millions who did the same but voted for thier guy, he probably voted against the rats.
My guess is he voted for the Dems, but how exactly would the press figure out how he voted? Name, age, sentence, address are public records. How he voted is (obviously, and thankfully) not.
I firmly believe that the penalties for Voter Fraud/Intimidation and/or Ballot tampering/manipulation should be on a level that no one in their right mind would ever think about risking it.
Seriously. What is the price paid for each and every one of US to enjoy the right and privilege to cast our ballot? Think long and hard about that and then come up with a suitable penalty.
Some ideas that I have are permanent loss of the ability to vote. It should be a felony that requires severe prison time as well as steep financial penalties.
One should also lose claim to any benefits that are derived from the taxpayers (tax exempt status) for organizations like SEIU, ACORN, Planned Parenthood OFA, and so on, that encourage or sponsor Voter Fraud efforts.
Please add your suggestions and your thoughts.
Well 9 mos in the slam is a pretty suckey prospect.
Either party....it sends a good message.
Not long enough in my honest opinion.
The men and women that sacrificed their all for this right should be taken into account.
Uh huh.
:-)
ya, that you’ll be out in time for the next election.
Not sure I see the need to jail um. But if you vote more than once. your done. no more voting for you. EVER.
Voter fraud is a danger to society. More damage can be done by doing it than many “violent” crimes.
IMHO, it should be classed as treason.
BTW, did the article say who he voted for? I suspect democrat down the line with Obama being the featured candidate.
Yep. Same with a crime committed with a firearm.
Should be a hanging offence......
I don’t know. Is it against the law for a presstitute to ask him?
I doubt they even ever try.
Bring back public hangings. Or at least floggings! ;)
