I was hoping one of the Texas FReepers would start a thread, but didn't see one. The Texas primary is today..several interesting races, but the BIG ONE involves Cornyn. When you vote...let us know what you heard/saw? What's the weather like down there?
Yep. That’s the one.

Stockman concedes.
“Stockman concedes”.
Stockman conceded several months ago, truth be told.
Welform reform....95% Yes.
Steve Stockman REP 17,089 16.61% 17,089 16.61%
Dwayne Stovall REP 7,252 7.04% 7,252 7.04%
Steve Stockman REP 119,181 17.33% 173,006 18.20%
Dwayne Stovall REP 68,006 9.89% 98,575 10.37%
With 45%. I still don’t know which counties have reported.

Wouldn’t the remainder of the votes be walk ins? would think favor would go to Stovall/Stockman?
There will be no run-off.
It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings.
It's pretty obvious that Cornyn won't be above 60%.

Do you know which Texas Counties haven’t reported?
I'm going to hate myself in the morning for not going to bed now.

Cornhole drops below 60% with 60% reporting.
Go to bed. We’ll be here agonizing and possibly celebrating,
I have to go to sleep a 7 on most days in order to get up at 3am to get to work by 5am.
In NorthEast elections, we know how each precinct is doing, but not here in Texas. Which Counties Haven’t Reported?

Not a big fan of site but they do have results by county..
/johnny
John Cornyn - Incumbent REP 432,270 62.47% 647,242 59.82%
Chris Mapp REP 12,590 1.81% 19,977 1.84%
Reid Reasor REP 10,624 1.53% 17,150 1.58%
Steve Stockman REP 119,890 17.32% 203,186 18.77%
Dwayne Stovall REP 68,317 9.87% 114,815 10.61%
Well, it looks like there will be several run-offs...just not the main one we were looking for....for now.
Cornyn, after early votes were counted, has gained 220K, or about 50%.
Stockman, gained 85K, or about 70%.
Stovall, gained 48K, or about 80%.
Cornhole will probably finish at around 58% over all. 57% at best. Eff him and Karl Rove. At least 42%-43% of Texas saw through their b.s. And we’re not going away.
