A couple years back there were 2,000 wolf tags issued. Hunters actually harvested 200 wolves. Not as easy as it seems. The 200 were evenly distributed across Idaho. My 30-06 was ready to go, but I was stuck writing software in San Diego when the opportunity arrived.
