Very versatile. I have both Encore and Contender G2 frames. Always buy the pistol config. You can build pistol or rifle configs from the pistol frame. If the frame came with the serial number registered as a rifle from the factory, it is rifle only from the ATF perspective. The Form 4473 will reflect the pistol serial number registered with the ATF and require being 21 or older to make the purchase. Details, but important details if you want the best bang for the buck.
