I guess the First Lady is now a policy implementer, no need for legislation.. just do it.
Can't wait 'til Beyonce does a PSA with her and their juvenile mates.

Did I miss something?
Does she hold an elective office that allows her to propose legislation?
If she is, this sounds like a violation of the Hatch Act.

Well, she’s *deemed* her exercise plan a success so she’ll probably deem the label policy be done, too.

I tell you what if they were to put an image of her or her husband on items I liked I would avoid the item. I no longer drink Pepsi because the logos reminds me of O.

Who made it

If I may ask a question...Will the “new, more informative” food packaging labels be readable and understandable by the products of today’s American Public School System?
Will there be Security cameras in every supermarket to ascertain that the customer does INDEED read each and every label?
Will note be made of those people to ignore the reading of the labels.
How many languages will the labels be written in? In a diverse society like this is supposed to be, it may well be unlawful to DISCRIMINATE against a person unable to read English.
Will each supermarket be required to have a service desk where customers may peruse the labels in any of 50 varying languages? People do have “rights”.

This ought to help the economy and create jobs.
Having all the food manufacturer's big, small, and in
between - reanalyze, reformulate, reformat,
and re-label all their food products will cost big bucks.
Will companies also have to sign a waiver saying
the new higher cost of their products were
not in any way affected by this new regulation?

You as a parent and a consumer should be able to walk into your local grocery store, pick up an item off the shelf and be able to tell whether it’s good for your family,” said Mrs Obama at the White House event on Thursday.
Hey, Booboo...you can do that now.
Provided you can read, of course.
