WASHINGTON — Sen. Ted Cruz is refusing to endorse his fellow Texas Republican in next week’s primary in which a tea party candidate is trying to oust the Senate’s second-ranking GOP leader.
Cruz declined to say whether he will vote for Sen. John Cornyn or challenger Steve Stockman.
Cruz continued criticizing GOP leaders Thursday and said he doesn’t plan to endorse any incumbents or their challengers in this year’s primaries. He did not rule out changing his mind later.
Several senior Republican senators face tea party challengers in primaries.
Cruz’s comments were notable because he is a vice chairman of the GOP committee tasked with winning Senate elections.
Cruz is a tea party favorite who may run for president in 2016.
His comments came at a Washington breakfast sponsored by Politico.

Hopefully, the people of Texas will take Cruz's non-endorsement as advice to vote for somebody other than Cornyn!

There is just no sidling up with RINOS, under any circumstances, with Ted Cruz. Not for love, money, nor compromise.

This is pretty rare, coming from a man with the ability to triumph against the odds, continues to stand on his own two feet, increasingly under fire, pressure and threat, but endorses no RINOS anywhere, for any trumped up reason.
This is the rare bird.
Why would anybody endorse someone who voted to give Obama everything he asks for with no strings? Like the latest budget “deal” to prevent military cuts, then a month later Obama announces he’s unilaterally cutting defense to pre-1942 levels.....
Cornyn = DUMB RINO who gets played by progressives and can’t figure out he’s been played.
