A couple of years ago I was passing by Atlanta on 285 when I approached someone in the left lane doing 55 in moderate traffic. After a couple of minutes, I decided to flash him to get over. For what ever reason the driver, decided to make a total stop in the left lane on an interstate. Either the person was too stupid to have a drivers license or they were contemplating suicide and taking me and my passenger with them. Be careful out there...

On 285 thats just suicide. You will get run over. :-)
I misplaced this thread and only rediscovered it this morning.
When I started driving (sometime in the last century!) it was considered a courtesy to signal drivers by flashing your lights with the dimmier switch. Nowadays that can get you shot. Same for brake-checking.
One commenter posted how he turns off the cruise control and coasts (slowing down). That usually doesn’t merit getting shot but if he speeds up with the guy tries to go around him I have seen people run off the road into the ditch.
‘Ragers are no one to mess with (as far as I’m concerned) and I have to shake my head at the folks who toy with them.
