Every one of the high school kids in my Sunday School class did not know that homosexuality is a sin.
I hope you pointed them to Scripture!

Parents and teachers have been intimidated?
The only upside to the promotion of homosexuals might be a reduction in naive women marrying and having innocent children with them.
However, with surrogate mothers etc., childhood is fast becoming a nightmare and the progeny of these “unions” will have no idea who they are.
I teach an adult class and have some of the same issues. Some think homosexuals are “born” that way.
Well...that pretty much sums up the state of the church today: Ignorance. The church has failed to teach doctrine...and we are paying the price. I would bet many of those kids are also ignorant of some fundamental aspects of the gospel.
It pretty much has to be taught at home and in Sunday school/church, they sure aren't going to hear it at school.
I have two teens at home, boy 14, girl 15, they both know that homosexual acts are sins, both find homosexuals disgusting. I'm trying to teach them to hate the sin but love the sinner. It's not the easiest concept to accept, even for some adults.
I teach older adults, they seem more understanding and accepting of the concept.
This is just icing on the cake. If we were to go back twenty years and ask high school kids what they thought of on other topics like, "is premarital sex a sin" or "if a married man looks at a woman lustfully, is it still considered adultery?" I think we'd know the answer.
America has been heading down this road for a long time.
