WHAT? Where’s the mom jeans and dorky big eared grin? Odd that GW doesn’t look nearly the dork as the “lyin’ king” on a bike. And GW’s doin’ a little more than ridin’ around the White House grounds strictly for a photo op. Scary image to even think about, but, has anybody seen moochie on a bike?

As a teen, I read Robert Heinlein's
Starship Troopers and in that novel only those who served in the military or other Federal service had the right to vote or hold public offce, as they were considered "full Citizens."
Not a bad idea, really.

Actually it is not a horrible idea but not a very good one either.
I prefer the idea that you have to had paid taxes for five years in order to vote. As long as for the past five years you paid just one dollar more in taxes then you received in government payments then step into the voting booth.

Be careful what you wish for. That might well flush a lot of older Soc Sec & Medicare recipients from the rolls, and they are majority R voters.

It might motivate them to reform those programs and turn them into private accounts rather then the government dole.

I would add another stipulation as well...you can only vote if your are a net payer of income taxes, i.e., you pay in all year and have to send the feds another check on April 15th.
Talk about a political game-changer....imagine all those Democratic “if-it’s-free-it’s-fer-me” voters being disenfranchised because they take far more than they contribute.

Thank you GW for helping the veterans who need all the help they can get!
God bless!

There are about 23 million veterans, and the military and veterans are overwhelmingly conservative voters, so they aren’t exactly the losers you describe.
