Obama Administration Embeds "Government Researchers" To Monitor Media Organizations

Last week, I highlighted the fact that the latest Press Freedom Index showcased a 13 point plunge in America’s press freedom to an embarrassing #46 position in the global ranking. If the authoritarians in the Obama Administration have their way, this country is set to fall much further in next year’s index.

Incredibly, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is set to roll out something called the Critical Information Needs study, which will embed government “researchers” into media organizations around the nation to make sure they are doing their job properly.

No this isn’t “conspiracy theory.” It is so real, and represents such a threat to the First Amendment, that a current FCC commissioner, Ajit Pai, recently wrote an Op-Ed in the Wall Street Journal, warning Americans of this scheme.

If you look back - everything that Obama ever found out - came from the news...he has no clue on what his administration is doing...this way - he can watch the news with his wife and daughters during “family time” and get caught up on what everyone else is doing to the nation...there will be no excuses that “he didn’t know!”

I’m joking of course...but I see the liberals using that argument...

Fox News sometimes reports stories the rest of the media ignores or trivializes.

The November elections will be critical for Obama's (presumably) final two years. If they can intimidate Fox, they can have better success at keeping negative stories out of public consciousness and perhaps enable the Democrats to retain the Senate.
