Her perseverance often awes me. Her arrogance sometimes galls me. And her particular braid of high-mindedness and high-handedness almost always leaves me puzzled and exhausted.
But what Ive been feeling for and about Hillary Clinton over the last week is sadness. Does she have even a smidgen of privacy left? Can she utter a syllable or think a thought with any assurance that it wont be exposed, analyzed, ridiculed?
When she was talking decades ago with Diane Blair, whose journals are part of The Hillary Papers, she no doubt assumed an audience of one: her dear friend. Her best friend. But this corner of Hillarys life, like every other, has now been put on public display. Get as close as you like. Gawk. Judge.

Elba is a pretty quiet place.
Yeah too damn bad. Did he cry a river for every Republican they malign? Didn’t Hillary use private eyes to investigate and harass women?
Hillary is old enough, at this point, what difference does it make?
“No body is gonna go snooping thru our papers, WE are the President”.
I’d Say the Biotch has brought all of it on herself. She was a nasty, underhanded evil person back when she was working on the Nixon investigations, of which she was FIRED for unethical behavior.
Don’t forget those 1100 raw data files on her and Bill’s adversaries.
Can she utter a syllable or think a thought with any assurance that it wont be exposed, analyzed, ridiculed?”
...ask this about Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, Bush, Reagan and on and on. If Cruz stuck his tongue out in 1st grade we’d hear about his cold callousness.
Sarah and her family is all that needs to be said.
Blah, blah, blah........................
Whazzamatter? Ya never heard of Alinsky? Hell, she wrote her THESIS on the SOB!
She’s been living it—all her “life”.
I was just heading out to work and sat a bit to give this a read. Now I have broken down and am sobbing for poor Hillary and I’m going to be late.
It’s a certified NYT Sunday weeper piece...
“Does she have even a smidgen of privacy left? Can she utter a syllable or think a thought with any assurance that it wont be exposed, analyzed, ridiculed?”
We hope not. All she needs to do is leave, forever. That resolves her concerns.
There is NO WAY she should be shown, nor given any quarter.
I consider her a traitor to our country for allowing those people who were left unsupported by our military, to die in Benghazi. She belongs in prison, not the White House. I am tired of hearing her name or seeing her face.
Yeh Frankie boy you Democraps worship gran Hilly until some other smooth talkin’ Bamboozler shows up and ousts her from the throne. Your Rats will abort her in 2016 too so leave granny superwoman alone with her queen without a Dem crown. Idiot demoRats-—fickle as can be.
Fell sorry for her????? She is a criminal. I only hope she ends up rotting shackled to a dank prison wall, repaying society for the damage she continues to do. “Sorry”...I don’t think so.
"Not bad, but I think I will have gas for quite a while."
YOU HAVE TO REMAIN A PRIVATE CITIZEN IF YOU WANT PRIVACY... ANNOUNCE YOU ARE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT AND YOU WILL UNDERGO A COLONOSCOPY.
Hillary gave away her right to privacy when she decided she wanted to be a ruler, and not a leader in the true sense of the word.
She gets no sympathy from me.
Having the FBI files allowed them to blackmail Republicans.
Back in 2000, when the story of George W. Bush's DUI incident from 24 years earlier suddenly surfaced and became the top media obsession the last weekend before the election, someone on FR plausibly suggested that the Democrats learned about it because of the FBI files. It was such an old incident that apparently you couldn't have learned about it by going to the local courthouse in Maine, but it could well have been included in the FBI file for George H. W. Bush (since it involved an immediate relative) and Hillary could have passed it along to be used when it could do the most harm.
Gosh. You can’t look at her. You can’t say anything about her. Now, you can’t look at her history. They think she’s a goddess.
