Good on you for standing up to those punk Obots, Jim. It's likely they've never even met a real patriot before. They're too stupid to know they've been privileged to meet one of the best!
That storm is just not letting up on you! Good grief.
We are in the tail end of the very light lake-effect snow that started falling yesterday. It has barely left a slight dusting,
just enough to make the concrete pad white again, and showing only about a half-inch on the weather bannister.
If I could take your huge snow accumulation, I would. We didn’t know it when we bought this place, but it’s apparently
impervious to weather of any kind. It actually emerged unscathed from a tornado about 10 years ago.
Heating it, even at 62-64° is very expensive. We don’t dare turn it up any higher, so we bundle up and hunker down.
It is 23° outside right now, and overcast, but the snow is slowing down to nothing.
Thank you, Mikey. He left out “down.” He takes the Constitution DOWN very seriously.
Looks like it would take a week or better well above freezing to melt all of that.
You have a newer house that's "open"? No doors? In older houses you could control what rooms were warm by opening and closing doors. New houses are beautiful and airy but we pay a price for high ceilings and an open floor plan.
haha indeed he does.
its SURREAL as a matter of fact.
Showed my wife the pics when she walked by, told her this is why we live down here.
Did she agree? :-)
We can open and close doors and also the heater vents. They have a little
arm that can adjust the amount of air blowing through them to near zero.
The sun room has double doors, and we just close the vents and the doors.
We have too many windows, and in spite of their being double paned, the
cold comes through on those -18° nights. Well, we only had one so far...
But anything under 10° is dang cold. Heck, when it’s up in the high 20°s,
I go out in a sweater and my house shoes because it feels warm, LOL!
Indeed.
LOL!!! It got up to 38 yesterday and I opened the back door (I left the storm door closed) and turned off the electric heater in my room. It was 66 in here and I loved it!
LOL! You got the snow, and we got the cold!
We share everything, don’t we!
We've had snow like this in the early 1990's. No snow is unusual.
I am counting this under an Epic Win!
We will NOT Stand Down!
We will NOT be quite!
We will not let our Stasi overlords take our freedoms for their control fantasies!!
