All of those say basically the same thing, and none of them tell exactly what the details of the alleged “cover-up” are. What is the motivation behind the “whistle-blowing”—employees who saw something underhanded going on, or former employees trying to get back at Merck for terminating their employment? If they did see something underhanded, then why didn’t they take their concerns to the FDA, instead of filing a class-action lawsuit? **If** there was falsification of data, who was doing the falsifying—the company Merck, or a Merck employee who wanted to make himself look better by falsifying or misrepresenting data? There are just too many unknowns here.
When I try to Google Merck and mumps, the results are almost all from non-reputable websites, and there are no recent updates on the allegations.
