Its sad to see how far the WSJ editorial board, a once great institution, has fallen.

Step aside geezers, there's a nation needs saving.

Actually he flushed the RINO’s out...again.
He held McCnnell and Coryn’s balls in a vice grip.
Good for Cruz.

The Senate Democrats would have owned the Debt Ceiling Increase, really?

Oh yeah, after the Republican House passed it all the Liberal Media Pundits would have reported it that way. LOL

They sure are whining over a 'meaningless' vote. Maybe it won't seem so meaningless when Cornyn gets primaried.

The Wall St. Journal has been liberal for awhile now. Their editorials have tended to remain somewhat conservative. However… how much credibility to you give someone that hides behind their anonymity? No guts no glory - chicken heart.

This is exactly the articles that turns the WSJ into toilet paper and most Americans wipe their asses on it!

Good for Ted Cruz in forcing the weasel RINOS to identify themselves. It helps us to place the crosshairs on those that need to be eliminated for being the traitors that they are.

Would sure like to see a chart like that with which party controlled Congress superimposed.

Then we'd see the Republicans cutting Clinton off in the late 90's (hence the flat line) and the spike at the end of GWB's term when the Dem's had control (and GWB caved, admittedly).

This chart doesn't tell the story at all.

reid flogs the gop anyway. it’s what he does.

they’d bitch about some other thing or bitch about how they had to be arm-twisted last time.

now cruz is the bad guy cause harry would have spent a month saying bad things about republicans.

hint, he’sgoung to spend the whole month saying bad things about the republicans, anyway.

who cares about reid’s warped words and reality? this is why we are supposed to do nothing?

So the Wall Street Journal favors putting trillions of more debt on our children? What a farce of a “conservative” newspaper. Wall Street loves debt because they get wealthy off issuing paper.

Just wait until Cornyn and McConnell lose their seats in the primaries this year. This mouthpiece for the GOP-e will cry like a baby. The WSJ is as out of touch as the NYT...two dinosaurs that have outlived their credibility.

“Democrats had enough votes to pass the increase with a simple majority, which means they would have owned the debt increase.”

The Dhimms voted overwhelmingly to further bankrupt us, so if this Big Business/Big Government organ is right they still “own” it.

Problem is, they have “owned” it for decades but the LIV doesn’t understand that or doesn’t care.

What Cruz was doing, and he did it brilliantly whether the WSJ cares to admit it or not, was to flush out the Big Government Republicans who have primary opponents this year. Cruz just handed Stockman (or Stovall) and Matt Bevin a great opportunity—and caused Lamar Alexander, Lindsay Graham, and Thad Cochran heartburn by putting them in the position of not being able to vote in favor of the debt increase.

Great job, Ted!
