Exactly.Yet another reason why your upcoming book could spur on a whole new look at what power each individual state has and maybe some governors will start using that power. Many issues could and should be handled by individual states. It would be much more efficient,cheaper and far better than federal regs that don’t fit each state.

I firmly believe that's where it's being formed on a continual basis. Algae, plankton, larger creatures and plants die and sink to the bottom, pressure smashes it down, silt covers it up and it composts anaerobically.
Natural gas forms and pressurizes it. Many or most of the oil fields were once seabeds or lie next to oceans where the oil is being formed.
I doubt leaves and dinosaurs have anything to do with it.

The only thing dirty about the oil is how much CO2 it takes to produce it. You have to believe CO2 is evil for that scare tactic to work. Where is the Global Warming they promised?

'Gotta wonder if Hannity really wanted to get home at midnight as well? Most forget that his TV job is just a second job to his big money maker the afternoon radio gig. That's his huge moneymaker has to be.
If val/jar is still calling the shots and I really don't know right now, she normally she normally schedules zero to be on the road to fund raise or just plain keep out of trouble in dc.
By the way some of the rumblings from the not too happy regime are that the Clinton mobsters are now fund raising from their marks..err...donors.Could be a hissy fit in the offing.

Funny you should mention that. I quizzed a buddy of mine who consults to the trade at the highest of levels on a worldwide basis and asked him if he really thought that oil was a fossil fuel.He had to think a while and then smiled.

Chuck U made a new suggestion for ‘immigration reform’ on DNC Dave’s show. Since the Pubbies don’t trust Obummer to enforce the laws, etc., postpone the bill’s implementation until 2017, when he’s out of office.
Couple of my thoughts on this (and I’m sure all of you will have many more):
1. If the House passes a bill this year, I believe it would go to conference and they’d have to negotiate with the Senate Dims on the bill the already passed (someone please correct me if I have that wrong).
2. This appears to be a brand new meme the Dims have just pulled out (I don’t recall hearing it before). They’re now going to use this to try to take away Boehner’s excuse and say Pubbies don’t want immigration reform, hate minorities, kids, and women (their usual spiel). Boehner, et al should have been talking jobs, etc. like apparently Laura did.
3. Why on earth would we want to pass a bill that doesn’t go into effect for 3 years??? Makes no sense at all unless you’re a Dim and have ulterior motives (see 1 & 2 above and 4 & 6 below).
4. There’s no guarantee that there will be a Republican President in 2017 (in fact, I suspect that Chucky thinks it will be Hillary! (who will do what she chooses to enforce the law or not, since a precedent has been set by the Won) and we’re stuck with the one the Gang of 8 put through (after slight negotiations with House on the 2017 implementation). I still don’t think she’s going to run. I think it might be Jerry Brown from CA or possibly John F. Kerry (who served in Viet Nam, BTW), or, possibly Biden, but I doubt he’d get much support.
5. If the Pubbies drop this issue this year, it gives Rubio a chance to do a “do over” and not agree to what previously was agreed upon this year by the Gang of 8 and he can perhaps get back in good graces with a *few* Republicans/RINOs.
6. If nothing is put through this year, Obummer won’t be able to claim a victory on this issue (which, IMHO he’d really like to do).

Just think of the magnitude of it...all the “green-water” ocean in the world. A giant biofuel-producing aquaculture mechanism.
The sun causes all that biomaterial to grow and capture hydrogen and carbon. It all sinks into the depths....then what happens to it?
There’s probably so much oil “down there” that humans could never use it all....no matter how large the population.
We just need to start exploring “inner space”.
