Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire and Virginia have bills under consideration that would extend the in-state benefit, said Tanya Broder, a senior attorney with the National Immigration Law Center.

America's "Shadow Government" is orchestrating this crap.
If I were a liberal Democrat in 2014 I’d be laughing and peeing in everyone’s face too. :)
Funny how this benefit NEVER extends to LEGAL foreigners (a.k.a. “International Students” - the high-paying cash cows of the university system).

Texas does this. Have 25 yr vets who retire here and then claim residency when they get out. Their kids have to at out of state tuition rates while these people get by with no discretion. Think they’re port? No they’re kids whose families have a ton of cash but can’t be in Mexico
Texans allow this completely yielding to it while apologizing for not speaking spanish
Plenty of places a non spanish speaker can’t get a job in Texas
It’s reputation is not reality
The states are just following their zombie leader Rick Perry...UGH!
Wow, MS too. Wonder what idiot is sponsoring this here.
Yeah, right.
Haley and his pal, Cochran, are my guesses.
Our “government” want to make us part of the “New World Order.”
The socialist State of Washington voted to have this!!!
"It isn't my fault my parents chose to raise me in Nebraska. All I am asking for is the same benefits Indiana is giving to illegal aliens.
And, while we're at it, let's say a kid here legally from, say, Nigeria makes the same claim. Either you are a legal resident of the state or you're not.
It was just revealed that the state university system in New Hampshire was not checking citizen and resident status on applications. Because of that, illegals as well as no-residents have been getting in-state tuition rates for an unknown amount of time.
“...Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, South Carolina, and Indiana
bar in-state benefits to students living in the country illegally...”

Cost for an American, out of state to attend CU Boulder:
48,000 +
Cost for an American in state of Colorado to attend:
8,000 +
Cost for illegal alien to attend:
3,200
The US is a fascist 3rd world country. Period.
Bribery of government officials, corruption of government officials and LEO, threats and intimidation of law abiding citizens by government and LEO, citizens’ property being confiscated without due process and citizens being arrested and incarcerated on the basis of unelected bureaucrats’ regulations as well as selective enforcement of law by the executive branch of the federal government and a number of states and cities. Habeus corpus can be suspended for selected *American citizens* by simply a bureaucrat labeling them terrorists without evidence. Americans can be denied the right of free passage for absolutely no reason at any time (TSA no fly list).
That’s the short list. We do NOT live in representative republic any longer. It’s all a dog and pony show to convince people voting actually means anything.
I defy anyone to prove me incorrect. PS: I won’t change my position, so it not really worth trying.
8 USC 1623a: (a) In general Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a State (or a political subdivision) for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit (in no less an amount, duration, and scope) without regard to whether the citizen or national is such a resident.
If you live in one of these states trying to give illegal alien parents (they pay the tuition, not the students) the tuition money from out of state American parents, write/call to your legislators and remind them of what lies in store if they pass these bills.
“Most Americans are under the illusion they still control their government. Wrong. The Executive, Legislative and Judicial Functions now look to the one-worlders like the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilberbergers and G-8 for advice on foreign policy, domestic economics. etc. America’s “Shadow Government” is orchestrating this crap.”
Most Americans don’t realize how few “Americans” are even being born at this point, and fail to recognize that these “immigrants” are in fact the replacement Americans. They are desperately needed as consumers (of housing, education, etc.) to replace the “missing” Americans. Here in northern NJ nobody has any illusions anymore; de facto amnesty is a done deal, and these tuition policies are simply a reflection of that fact.
Don’t the folks realize that this means that normal peoples’ tuitions will go up drastically?
Just state university systems’ way of grabbing more tuition dollars in the face of declining enrolment.
We need an “American Citizen Law Center”.
