NEW YORK (AP) -- CNN's Carol Costello was more than prepared for her contentious live interview with Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed on Wednesday, having spent frustrating hours caught in the epic traffic snarls caused by the rare Southern snowstorm.
Unlike other motorists, Costello wasn't stranded overnight in her car, but it took two tries and more than three hours for her to drive two miles to her home Tuesday from the news network's Atlanta headquarters.

She’s upset because she expected him to protect her. How utterly pathetic.

This show the idiocy of The Media more than anything else. She thinks “The Government” should have ready answers for every problem tha arises, including a snowstorm where it never usually snows.
Does she think they should keep and maintain expensive snow removal equipment at the ready to handle the snow they get once every 50 years?

two miles?? Why the hell didnt she walk? She probably didn't want to abandon her car. And the walk home may have involved going through some rather dicey neighborhoods. This is Atlanta after all.

I checked her Wikipedia page to see her place of birth. She attended high school and college in Ohio. Under her personal section is “Costello is childfree.” Is that a PC-term?

Shes upset because she expected him to protect her. How utterly pathetic.Treating the roads with sand and salt before a two inch snow storm is basic local government. Anything short of that is pathetic.
To: Blennos
her car was safe in the CNN garage. She’s just lazy. 2 miles?

I wanted to get answers from the man who was supposed to be protecting me from that and I didn't get that." what is he? her body guard? is she supposed to be a self-sufficient, i-am-woman-hear-me-roar feminist? or a damsel in distress? get over yourself, female!

Atlanta averages 2 inches of snow a year. This was a 2 (or 3) inch snow storm.

That’s a weird term. Who calls themselves child free? If you don’t have kids, it’s just normally written as “married to John Smith from Atlanta”, etc.

Yes! Atlanta should have a full compliment of snow removal equipment and mountains of ash and salt for the roads. It should all be ready and maintained!
I cannot understand your cavalier attitude. After all, doesn’t Phoenix have a huge multimillion dollar fleet of lifeboats standing by in case of rising water?/
