Breaking News: Judge orders Texas hospital to remove life support from brain-dead pregnant woman.

This is the first report of any handicap testing they'd done. As of a few days ago, the hospital was saying they had no idea and that had been no testing. The hino has been wanting to pull the plug since day one so that leads me to believe he never wanted the child to live.
That is actually what the State Law requires, if I understand it correctly.
Not to mention that he was the first person to “try” to rescsitate her. This whole thing smells...
Or they can just make it up like Terrie's murdering husband did.
'Apparently'. There are several anecdotal cases of misdiagnosis of hydrocephalus where doctors admonished a woman to abort her baby and instead she carried it to term and delivered it healthy and normal.
Were this my family in question here we'd be getting a second opinion for sure.
Murder!
And you don't want to either. Good job of searching your heart with the Almighty. See you soon.
Erick Munoz says he and his wife are paramedics who were clear that they
didn’t want life support in this type of situation. Her parents agreed. .......
“Marlise Munoz is dead, and she gave clear instructions to her husband and
family — Marlise was not to remain on any type of artificial `life
sustaining treatment’, ventilators or the like,” the lawsuit said.
“There is no reason JPS should be allowed to continue treatment on
Marlise Munoz’s dead body, and this Court should order JPS to immediately
discontinue such.”
Remember....she’s on a machine to start with...man is sustaining them not God.
did the baby agree too?
It is a living human baby and they want him or her DEAD, period. That is murder. As Wendy Davis supporters would say “Hail Satan”.
Yet, a medical ethicist that helped to draft the law was interviewed by local media. He stated the law as it was intended did not apply in this case.
Tell the judge tgfh.
A sobering point.
Who is sustaining you?
I’m not on a machine.
Don’t whether or not this can be classified as abortion but the mother is dead. Machines keep her body functioning but not for very long. The baby is severely deformed. If the machines are turned off the baby dies along with the body of the mother. If the baby survives to a point that it can be removed through a C section it has a good chance of not surviving. The woman is unable to make decisions, nor will she ever. Without machines the womans body would be dead. The family has made a decision based on all the facts. It doesn’t make them evil.
From what I’ve read the baby has severe brain damage.
As for all who are saying this must be a liberal judge, he was appointed by Perry and ran for re-election as a republican. Watching AC360 last night Cooper wanted to make sure everyone knew the judge is a republican. I’m sure he’s surprised by the ruling.
Doesn't really matter to some on FR. They believe in playing god, substituting their judgement for the husband's, the court, medical experts, the church and common sense.
In their eyes all everyone is a heathen except them. They are enlightened.
That’s what the American people do; there must be “insurance” out there?
