Top television and radio host Glenn Beck said in an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News that he regrets some of his time at the cable network, when he hosted his own show, and admitted that he ratcheted rhetoric that helped drive a political wedge in America.
"I remember [my time on Fox] as an awful lot of fun and that I made an awful lot of mistakes," Mr. Beck said on Fox News on Tuesday night. "I think I played a role, unfortunately, in helping tear the country apart."
He also said if he could hit the rewind button, that he'd focus more on uniting, not dividing.
"I wish I could go back and be more uniting in my language," he said, Politico reported. "I didn't realize how really fragile the people were...
Mr. Beck's show ran on Fox News between 2009 and 2011...

I hear ya’. I’ve noticed the issues he avoids. Pay to play I guess...
You flatter yourself, Glenn. Lots of us have always taken you for a mere kook.
All true.
Ha! I stole it from my wife.
I had the same experience with Beck's radio show. I tried. I really did, but the show sounded like something out of a drunken frat house. I don't think I lasted more than 20 minutes during the three times I tried to listen.
I used to like Beck. I think he’s gone over the edge.
Levin and Prager seem to have held up quite well. Besides Rush, they're about the only two I can listen to for three hours anymore.
I wonder if Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly wanting to launch a new history channel has anything to do with all this???
I don’t think so. I believe Glenn is trying to start bridging the chasms between the left and right. I think he believes his work at fox exacerbated the situation. I think he is wrong in this. The left is what it has been for decades and decades. It is simply confident enough now to expose itself. I wish Glenn luck but I don’t think he will be successful. The left wants to destroy us, simply because we live.
I agree with you. I think Glenn believes his presentation and attitude decided our citizens rather than uniting them. I don’t think this is creepy, rather I see a man who has come to God taking a bit too much responsibility upon himself.
Naw. He just found God and like many of us reflected upon his past and see times where he believes he could have done better. I think he did fine. Some smacks to the head are necessary once in a while to keep people paying attention.
That is a complete whitewash.
A) Standing with GLAAD, a cultural terrorist organization, is bad enough. This is a CPUSA front group.
B) Russian actor, and why did he bother bringing something up that nobody had even heard about just to push GLAAD’s victimhood agenda?
C) He tied it all in to Russia’s new laws, even recently with his critique of Putin’s interview. He then decried the ‘anti-gay’ crowd, CUOMO’S LANGUAGE
Talk about having no principles.
Pat and Stu once compared armpit farts if I remember correctly. It’s like spongebob squarepants over there.
Don’t think it is quite that way. I think Glenn believes he could have made his presentations less combative in nature. I believe this is reflection due to a religious epifiny.
This is like Washington apologizing to Cornwallis for shelling Yorktown.
Maybe not so much that. He is a humble man who found God and upon reflection he thinks he could have done better. I think he did fine initially and with the Blaze. He needs to just relax and be himself.
Perhaps we are too hard on the dims? NAW!!! ;D)
The station here (WIOD) dropped Beck.
I loved Friday, moron trivia was hysterical.
