Just a question about beards. The IDF allows observant soldiers to wear beards, yet I cannot imagine an army (or a country) more aware of the need to wear gas masks. What is the explanation?

Looks like the ‘crossdressers’ won another one.
Every day this bunch of misfits in this mismaladministration make it harder and harder for me to be supportive of the Military.
I realize that when I went in in ‘56 the ‘old timers’ (still on AD and already out) said “Our generation was soft and couldn’t hack it” the same was probably said by the CW Vets when it came to “Remember the Maine”, the RTM for the WWI crowd and the WWI crowd towards the WWII.
Just like the two best duty stations you EVER had were the one you came from and the one you were going to.
