I have a nagging question in the back of my mind.

What would we think of an insurance company that has proved itself to be as inept as Obamacare has been?

The perception of inadequacy is being distorted by government meddling. The goal of the government left wing wackos is to implement their Utopian agenda. To feel good trumps to function.

Insurance works because long tried and true calculations are made of risk. When the calculations are thrown away and policies are sold based on mandates, risk is not a factor in the cost calculation. The premium is no longer insurance it is merely a collection to offset unknown total cost.

The result is that the insurance companies did not make poor risk assessments, they were forced to abandon that which is known to function. They are being forced to be implementers of a system that will succeed only if there is a miracle.

By tinkering and adjusting and screwing around, Obama is attempting to produce the miracle.
