While Bill de Blasio backer Steve Nislick plots to grab the stables once his boy follows through and outlaws carriage horses in Central Park, Liam Neeson visited the actual stables whose 64,000 feet of valuable real estate Nislick has been drooling over and is plotting to seize under the cover of animal rights.
And taught smirking liberal Jon Stewart a thing or two about horses. . .

I live in Central PA and work in Lancaster County in the heart of Amish country. Just yesterday I was for a time stuck in traffic behind not one but two horse drawn Amish buggies on my way to work. But it sure beats and is much preferable to me than being stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the Washington or Baltimore Beltways as I suffered for many years. The local Weis Market grocery store near my work even has special parking places for Amish horse drawn buggies
These horses are beautiful and very well cared for. And they are very used to traveling on roads with cars and trucks passing them. They dont even flinch or miss a step.
Now the Amish and their puppy mills is another matter, but their horses are very well cared for.
I don’t know much about NYC, but this one doesn’t look like a slam dunk to pull off. The horses may have enough sentimental connection that people take a second look at the fraud connection.

The owner of one of the stables has a 23-acre farm in East Earl just to ‘vacation’ her horses. Many of the carriage horses come from Amish farms.
