I am indifferent.

2016 election is far away from now (~ 3 years, ~ 2 years to a primary ) and this will have no relevance by then.

I don’t think it matters that Christie “didn’t know”.

He is responsible for the actions of his staff. He is also responsible for placing clear limits on political actions lacking his approval.

Unless Christie can show that someone on his staff went completely rogue & that person publicly admits it, Christie is responsible for this reprehensible behavior.

Of course he claims he didn't know anything was going on. I could have told you that would be his story from the moment he announced the press conference.

Really, what's he going to do? Stand up and say "Yeah, I'm that petty, yeah I'm that vindictive. etc. etc." ??? That would be political suicide. Of course the alternative is only slightly better. If we are to believe him then he has made gross errors in judgement in putting people who are that petty and vindictive in positions of power.

Either way Christie, if you act like an a-hole you're going to be regarded as one. I do believe his political career is finished. This is probably the best job he's ever going to have, he's going to go no further.
