Obama said the same thing about the IRS targeting tea partiers, of course. To which conservatives replied: That’s no excuse. Even if he didn’t order the targeting, bad behavior coordinated by multiple subordinates typically doesn’t happen unless they have reason to believe it’ll be tolerated up the chain. Usually, when they play dirty, they’re taking some sort of cue from their boss to do so, whether in broad ideological terms or direct marching orders.
Why have they tripped up their chosen loser? Have they found a better loser?

This is just an opportunity to keep insinuations of a Republican behaving badly in the news for as long as possible; Christie had no need to do this, and he’ll be clean.

It is a smokescreen for the unfolding disaster that is the Obama administration; expect this any time there is a chance for the media to paint the GOP in a negative light.
Christie will come out clean, and there will be no impact on his (long-shot) White House aspirations.
He is a threat to BOTH sides, explaining the intensity. He was toast after the arm in arm thing with Obama for most conservatives (we’ve had two RINOs in a row, we don’t need a third). And the left thinks he can beat Hillary. It’s not that the long knives are out, it is that two armies are joining forces for their own reasons, the knives are the same length...there are just twice as many.

I'll have to agree to disagree with you on the Krispy, Freepers=MSM issue. I look at Krispy as more of a Charlie Crist...someone who goes which way the wind blows, but in the end, is nothing but a 0 clone.
Whether Krispy knew/didn't know about this, he deserves the flak he's getting, as his decisions ultimately stop with him. ALL of his decisions...even his taking a lovely walk with 0, just before the election. His timing stinks.
Freepers, as proven just recently, stand up for and defend patriots and Conservatives when the LSM unjustly attacks on them. Palin and Phil Robertson are just two examples.
Krispy set himself up, perfectly, for what is happening to him, now. He is just having to dance with the "One" who brung him to this/his media party.

The ferocity and speed at which the scurrilous press pounced on Christie; although entirely predictable, was more than I could stand, so's I had me a conniption fit, right here in front of everyone. The filth and scum masquerading as a free press giving the illegal alien in the white hut a pass is also predictable, and infuriating just as much.

I guess it is a sad day when one feels compelled to defend Christie from the press, of all agencies on earth. Club Christie like a baby seal, if you will, but PLEASE add a caveat that one does not stand with the press’s apoplectic manufactured indignations. This - is - the - press for crying out loud.
NOTE: I’m hip to the whole shadenfraude angle around these parts, now running wide open on steroids. I get that.
I really really really really really do not care one iota about Christie. I see a press unhinged and unleashed. Traffic congested for four hours, even if intentional and from the singular mind of ol’ Krispy Kreme, pales in magnitudes by what has been inflicted upon our nation by the illegal alien in the white hut. Yet, the world teters on it’s eve of destruction because of what Christie did, IN THE EYES OF THE WHORES OF BABYLON, often referred to as a free press. Is anyone with half a bully pulpit taking a stab at pointing this utter hypocrisy out to the people capable of voting in an election? What’s next? Outrage when it’s discovered an interstate median was intentionally left unmowed? Whatever...
So again, what was the proof of guilt leveled against Christie?

The outrage, although predictable, is magnitudes beyond what has been directed at dear leader’s destructive ideology and handiwork. I get the whole piling on Christie thing. What I don’t get is the press getting away with it.
The new media, and brave folks like Sarah, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, etc are our only hope.
