Lawyers (particularly criminal defense lawyers) often have to represent disgusting evil people that they are repulsed to have to sit beside in court. However, even the worst amongst us is entitled to competent legal counsel. It is wrong to hold the lawyers responsible for defending unlikeable clients. It is part of his or her duty (no different than a medical doctor caring for a patient who is evil). Having said that it is proper to criticize the insensitivity of Obama in appointing this guy.
