It would be better to have 10 million Conservatives staying home and writing checks to Conservative candidates in this year’s elections than to have 10 million Conservative bodies appear in Washington.

We’d better do both!

Nah, we have done the check thing, if you think you can win this battle with checks and an election, then you are lost.

Can conservatives outspend the lobbyists?

I don't think so. They have tried to decimate the Tea Party. We need to show the country that we are still viable. This would encourage conservatives to run. I'm tired of the RINOs pushing us to the side and taking our votes for granted and then voting with the liberals. Egypt came out in force. Surely, we can come out in force. We need to prove that the Tea Party is not dead. If we want leaders to emerge, we need to be there for them. To give people the chance to meet up and share ideas and make a statement.

I'm with you Jim. We need a march soon. To prove we are out there. I feel abandoned and I'm sure other Tea partiers do too.

The original Boston Tea Partiers had a plan. Namely, let’s go down and throw tea in the water.

What would be “the plan” in 2014 I wonder.

Gotta raise a little hell of some kind or we might as well stay home.

My thought is the party starts on a regular in session day and then, following the rally, the masses break up int 544 groups and march to 544
Reps, senators and supremes houses. Once there, someone knocks on the door and asks to chat!

Probably not. If the goal is to show up, then leave, you might be write. Your plan will most likely lead to more terrible Republicans and wasted money.
