Matthew Boyle, the writer of this article, appears to me to be a typical lazy journalist. First of all, who the hell is Scott Braddock? Are we, Mr. Boyle, to take what ANY person on the face of the earth says as gospel? Just spit out a name and that will suffice for you to make your points??!!

Mr. Boyle further opines that:

“Poe, Johnson and Carter are connected closely with the Texas business community, which Braddock noted in the Quorum Report story are very much in favor of amnesty”.

This statement is really tiresome. I’ve been a member of the Texas business community for 40 years and know many others that have too. I have employed over the same time period hundreds of Mexican laborers and craftsmen. I have stated right here on FR several times that without these hard working guys, there would have been no construction industry in Texas for me to thrive in, and that is a fact.

But, I DO NOT SUPPORT ANY FORM OF AMNESTY AND I DO NOT BELIEVE “THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN TEXAS” does either!!! Boyle needs to get off his butt and do a little deeper research.

I do support a bullet proof guest worker program where these people can legally work here but talk of being a citizen is a whole nuther subject! Citizenship must be earned just like any other immigrant has to do. With the technology available today, precise and instant identification can be made of any individual so guest worker programs that work can be put in place.

Finally, a precedent to the guest worker program must be that the border is secure. I prefer an Israeli Style concrete wall that runs the entire length of the border and is patrolled with more drones and much fewer personnel.

So, the wall and a secure guest worker program is the answer and such a program will dramatically reduce the coyote traffic, the drug cartels and terrorist issues!

I see. Apparently you also support the hospitals and public schools subsidizing your foreign laborers because American workers have to pay Social Security and other taxes to cover those costs.

It's guys like you who've practically ruined the construction trades for American men, who once flocked to that industry because it paid well, and was a highly skilled profession.

Your "hard working guys" have pushed the wages down so drastically in the construction field, that no law abiding American man can earn an honest living at it any more. Americans don't get all of the government freebies that make it possible for your "hard working guys" to work for peanuts.

I take it personally, because these invaders have taken the food off my children's dinner table for years, and have made it damn near impossible for me and my wife to build our business to the levels it should be.

A pox on them, and everyone who supports them!

You point would be made much stronger if you can also state, "and not one of them has been an illegal alien. I check!"

Well?
