“Whats to stop them, knowing as they do the treachery of RINOs, from filing all the same guys they would have had the RINOs betrayed their oaths before the deadline? “
Successful house candidates spend $1.5 million dollars on average in the main election. To primary somebody you’ll probably need nearly that much so count it as $3 million dollars. Waiting until after the primary filing robs potential challengers of the impetus needed to generate that first $1.5 million dollars.
Is there profanity adequate to describe what a sleaze bag Boner is? I sure hope Boner, the RINO, has ordered his packing boxes.
Does it look like he will be re-elected? Is there a challenger or might I dare a strong (self- avowed) democrat on the other ticket?
Boehner Toast. It’s what’s for breakfast.
“Dump Boehner.
Now.
Dont wait. We need a real speaker.”
Havent you figured it out yet? We are not the dumpers we are the dumpees....
nobody is gonna dump boner the drunk..
Judicial Watch’s Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians of 2013
Speaker of the House John Boehner is selected for what Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer calls the Tollbooth Strategy, explaining, You pay money at a tollbooth in order to use a road or bridge.
The methodology in Washington is similar: if someone wants a bill passed, charge them money to allow the bill to move down the legislative highway. Schweizer reported that Boehner apparently used the Tollbooth Strategy to collect more than $200,000 in political donations from executives just days before holding votes on bills critically important to their industries.
Does that mean that the republicans will be moving their home office down to mexico city now? Might as well just drop all of fhe pretenses now and state for the record that LaRaza has re-conquered the US, and all of the politicians made out like banditos. Hope you like beans and tortillas gringos.
Who is his primary challenger in his district?
OK John, not a problem.
All of the base can now safely assume that a candidate is pro-amnesty UNLESS they publicly campaign that they are NOT pro-amnesty and then be vetted by local and state TEA Party organizations.
By making this move the dummy just pushed amnesty out to the front of the campaign issues.
What a moron.
.
Matthew Boyle, the writer of this article, appears to me to be a typical lazy journalist. First of all, who the hell is Scott Braddock? Are we, Mr. Boyle, to take what ANY person on the face of the earth says as gospel? Just spit out a name and that will suffice for you to make your points??!!
Mr. Boyle further opines that:
“Poe, Johnson and Carter are connected closely with the Texas business community, which Braddock noted in the Quorum Report story are very much in favor of amnesty”.
This statement is really tiresome. I’ve been a member of the Texas business community for 40 years and know many others that have too. I have employed over the same time period hundreds of Mexican laborers and craftsmen. I have stated right here on FR several times that without these hard working guys, there would have been no construction industry in Texas for me to thrive in, and that is a fact.
But, I DO NOT SUPPORT ANY FORM OF AMNESTY AND I DO NOT BELIEVE “THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN TEXAS” does either!!! Boyle needs to get off his butt and do a little deeper research.
I do support a bullet proof guest worker program where these people can legally work here but talk of being a citizen is a whole nuther subject! Citizenship must be earned just like any other immigrant has to do. With the technology available today, precise and instant identification can be made of any individual so guest worker programs that work can be put in place.
Finally, a precedent to the guest worker program must be that the border is secure. I prefer an Israeli Style concrete wall that runs the entire length of the border and is patrolled with more drones and much fewer personnel.
So, the wall and a secure guest worker program is the answer and such a program will dramatically reduce the coyote traffic, the drug cartels and terrorist issues!
They are being empowered by the left to destroy the GOP, the Tea Party, our way of life and our country.
Boneless is such a rock sucker.
I see. Apparently you also support the hospitals and public schools subsidizing your foreign laborers because American workers have to pay Social Security and other taxes to cover those costs.
But they don’t need $1.5MM to file. My point is that if they file a guy, they they keep the door open and the deadline becomes meaningless. Later is better still, sure, for the RINO’s, because like you note it hampers fundraising by the TP candidate, but just the exact deadline itself doesn’t have to mean anything so long as the TP is thinking ahead.
Don’t give them a chance to screw us.
Primary ALL of the bastards!
“Nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.”
“But they dont need $1.5MM to file.”
Does the Tea Party have enough viable candidates to cover all bets? And, if they end up filing on the wrong guy they’ve tied up a viable asset who might have been better used elsewhere. It’s my impression that potential viable candidates are few and far between.
Yes, I like the idea.
Does the Tea Party have some overarching strategist who can handicap the odds and put candidates together with funders? If so, I don’t who it is.
I defended Boner for years. Including on FR. But he’s mostly just an enabler, or useful idiot ?, for the Obama/ pelosi/ Reid agenda. What has he accomplished for the betterment of USA? He’s totally squandered the opportunities for good public service that his position has afforded him. I think it is well time for him to take a nice retirement so that some real leadership type person could have a chance at the job.
If this is true, the obvious question presents: What kind of an idiot lets a plan like this leak out? What’s the *real* game here?
What? Treachery out of the gop wing of the uniparty? Surely you jest!
