Two related notes: The family asked the ARMED deputy who saved the day to be a pallbearer at her funeral.

There's a petition to issue her Diploma posthumously. I don't have a problem with that.

Has this been done for fallen soldiers, is there a precedent? If the young lady was due to graduate this winter, then, perhaps so. At 17, she was likely a Junior or Senior. I graduated at 17, so it does happen.
